Once you plug in, tap on battery icon then tap on gear icon to adjust your amperage.

I suspect your amperage was very low. At 32A, you should be able to get about 7% per hour.

Cheap OEM tires for 2023 VF8 Plus

I called America’s Tires support (888) 456-7796 and was able to price match with Walmart.

it did happen to me, but after a few sw update. i can now command Alexa to open/close garage door, turn on/off lights in the house etc.

these 2 are already a feature on new fw with new UI 8a.3.11.0 and up

I was able to use Alexa to command for things inside VF8 and things inside my Alexa smart home. However, for demonstration purposes of showing how to set up Alexa in VF8, i decided to sign out of my Alexa account to film the entire process. After that, I could no longer command anything for my smart home. 😭

Correct. I was for City Edition owners who leased the car in early 2023.

No. Doing it this way doesnt require the manual 2 pulls.

Instead of manually pulling the lever under steering column to open frunk, there’s another way to open via touch screen.

This method only works on Standard Edition for now since the button disappears too quickly in City Edition. Plus, car has to be in deep sleep for you to see this unlock hood button.

Yes the same method applies for charging loaner. As long as you can locate where you are, you’ll be able to initiate charging session via vf app.

Newer updates will not show yellow triangle exclamation mark if you turn off Drive aids.

Other drive modes aint saved for now sadly. I do hope settings are saved with profile at least.

I listen to music on yt music, so not having access to xm radio isnt a deal breaker for me.

Have you checked your 12v battery? If 12v is below 65, it usually gives out bunch of errors.

Here is how to check 12v battery

Condensation stayed for a bit but eventually dried out for me. If it still has condensation, call call center. They’ll replace it for you.

I have wawanesa for both of my vf8s: 1 with SDI battery (City Edition) and 1 with CATL battery (Standard Edition). Other owners have coverage via farmers, century etc.

Try setting your car to Creep on, it wont roll back. Vf8 doesnt truly have auto-hold mode but that’s 1 way to get around it.

Since i mainly use maps via android auto or apple carplay, i find vf map redundant. I removed vf map so have place for ambient temp.

Since my City Edition been updated to 9.6.0.3, no problem whatsoever for me for the last 2 months.

It is recommended only to use on freeways. I have used ADAS for the last 9 months on freeways. It drives better than me sadly 😝

I notice when i drive into the light or when it rains/ foggy outside, frontal emergency brake got disabled. Those were the times i was on city streets, so i cant say from ADAS was also disabled.

The trick is to use “search this area” button. I have charged loaner at public stations mainly at EVGo due to proximity multiple times via this method
