VinFast and Green Vehicle on the journey towards a sustainable future

According to the World Health Organization (WHO), air is the cause of nearly 7 million deaths each year.  This situation raises deep concerns about public health as well as a pressing issue: What solutions are there to minimize the burden on the environment? That is why the green living trend is increasingly receiving strong support and the green vehicle trend is also gradually becoming an indispensable part on the path towards the era of sustainable development.   So what is a green car or green vehicle? Green cars or green vehicles are road vehicles that use electric or hybrid engines, causing less harm to the environment than vehicles using traditional internal combustion engines. Not only do they provide a perfect driving experience that is not inferior, electric motorbikes and electric cars also overcome the disadvantages of internal combustion engine vehicles.  The global air pollution situation has caused many countries to plan to “kill” cars using internal combustion engines and encourage the production and use of electric cars. That is one of the reasons leading to the remarkable development of the electric car industry.   According to The California Air Resources Board, California has 1.5 million zero-emission vehicles in use – two years…

Driving With Alphabet Soup—Hungry for More?

Have you ever been driving down the road and something caught your eye? Say, like an interesting building that looked like it should’ve been right out of scene from the movie Dune? Or a vintage 1961 Ferrari 250 GT California SWB Spider worth $17.5MM stalled on the side of the road, which caused you to partially draft into another lane?  Which caused the driver next to you to honk aggressively, startling you back into the center of your lane, nearly missing a serious accident?   Well for most of us who had the pleasure of spending a coveted all day Saturday court ordered traffic school, you learned about “target fixation”.  This is when the driver comes focused on one thing that is usually distracting and dangerous.  In traffic school, you learned skillful vision techniques that required you to always scan your environment directly in front of you and plan an escape route just in case you need to avoid an accident.  This technique will go a long way in preventing target fixation from ever occurring.  Guess what? You are human, and you sometimes make mistakes.  So, how do you account for those moments when you are human and not paying…

Review of Any Blind Spots Experienced When Driving a VinFast

Blind spots are a part of every driver’s life and a key concern for any driver looking to get into a new vehicle.  If you’re considering investing in a VinFast electric vehicle but are concerned about the driving experience with blind spots, you’ve come to the right place. Keep reading to learn more about what you can expect regarding blind spots with the VF8 and VF9 models. Blind Spots Experienced When Driving a VinFast Model The construction of modern vehicles creates natural blind spots, even for VinFast models. We need thick A-pillars and C-pillars to house airbags and electrical cabling and hold up the roof. It’s also important to note that modern SUVs are higher and have taller hoods than older vehicles.  This construction naturally creates several blind spots:  Immediately in front of the front bumper  Immediately behind the rear bumper  Outside rear corners  Through the A-pillar How These Compare to Other Models  These blind spots are normal for all vehicles, and not at all unique to VinFast.  However, VinFast works to mitigate these blind spots with radar-based blind-spot monitoring and lane-change assist that alerts you to other vehicles in the blind spot. VinFast also offers radar-based park assistance to…

How to Implement Autonomous Driving in a Safe Way

Over the past few years, autonomous vehicle technology has made a promising development in the automotive industry. As a result, the global autonomous vehicle market will be worth a projected US$325.9 billion by just 2030. Although autonomous driving is an exciting technology, drivers must ensure safe implementation by following these guidelines. 1. Pay Attention to the Road, Even When the Car Is Driving Itself When you’re in the driver’s seat of an autonomous vehicle, you must remain attentive. It only takes a few seconds to lose focus on what’s happening in front of you. Keep your eyes on the road at all times, and make sure your hands remain firmly on the steering wheel so you’re ready to take over in a split second if required. 2. Stay Within the Speed Limit Autonomous driving cars don’t always know every road’s speed limit, so you still need to ensure the car doesn’t exceed the speed limit. You should also use your own judgment and slow down in bad weather, such as rain, fog, or snow. During these conditions, your vehicle’s reaction time may be slower than normal. 3. Understand What to Do in an Emergency If an emergency does occur while in autonomous…

How to Make the Most of a Long Commute

Over the last year, daily commutes have often changed from long stretches in public transit to long stretches in a cramped car. Sometimes this happened because the pandemic forced people to move or change jobs, sometimes because it made public transit unsafe. In other cases, people moved to a region where trains and buses weren’t available. Whatever the reason, many people are now stuck in their cars for an hour or two every day, and it’s making them crazy. After all, some people just aren’t used to long drives. They may have grown up with public transit or may have thought they’d never be able to afford a ride of their own. Now they’re trying to figure out how to stay sane—and healthy, given how a long car ride can strain one’s back and neck. Things to Do Fortunately, there are many things you can do to take the edge off a long commute, and even make it fun and something to look forward to. Listen to Podcasts There’s more to the world of podcasts than The Joe Rogan Experience and NPR. The variety of podcasts has surged enormously over the last decade, and these days you can find a…

How to Make Your Ride More Comfortable

For something that costs so much money to buy and maintain, cars can be incredibly uncomfortable. Not just physically, but in terms of convenience and “creature comforts.” This isn’t always the case—manufacturers do invest a lot of money into ergonomics, fancy extras, and quality materials. But, they also have to balance those concerns with safety, economics, and varying tastes across their markets. As a result, the driving experience can sometimes feel lacking for the individual. But what if you could fix that? What if you could amp up your driving experience, tailor it to your individual needs, and make your car as comfortable as your apartment or bedroom? Well, there’s good news: you can! It just takes knowing what to look for. Creating a comfortable driving experience means different things to different people. And, courtesy of the unholy union of a car gadget market stacked with useless junk, the lack of readily available advice on enhancing the comfort of your vehicle, and the fact that some just view their car as a way to get from point A to point B, many people can’t figure out where to start making their car comfortable.  That’s why we’ve created this. It’s a…
