Details of VinFast’s “flying dragon” electric bicycle: Operating range of more than 100 km/charge
VinFast officially introduced the DrgnFly electric bicycle model to the US market at the CES 2024 Electronics and Consumer Exhibition, exactly 1 year after the concept car was displayed at CES 2023. The name “DrgnFly” is inspired by the image of a dragon flying into the sky. This electric bicycle model is the result of cooperation between VinFast and Eskild Hansen, a creative studio from Denmark that has won many Red Dot awards. This combination brings a unique design, blending classic style with the future of sustainable transportation. The vehicle’s appearance has many similarities with mini motorbike models such as Honda MSX or Monkey. The chassis is made of aluminum to ensure durability and flexibility. In addition, the car is also equipped with extended handlebars and large tires and an ergonomic saddle, providing an optimal driving experience for users. The vehicle has two operating modes, including pedal assist or fully electric. The car’s length x width x height dimensions are 1,695 x 690 x 1,040 mm, seat height is 760 mm.
