Seriously why would you lease a car that you can’t charge inside your garage during summer time? Not only it is inconvenient but also you’re asking intruders to pay a visit if you need to put a shade over the vehicle while charging

12V battery issue on Tesla is the thing of the past. My daughter has driven 2023 M3 for 4 months without any problems. The draining issue remains a concern for me unless you replace it with a good LFP but it would void the warrantee and it is not a guarantee fix.

This is just one of them. I still don’t quite understand of the timing at all.

It is too high for what it’s worth. 243 miles for $56K on VF8 Plus with T&L which comes out to almost $60K vehicle. You can have a lot of options when 2024 rolls around. A well equipped PHEV costs less than $50K and still qualified for $7500 tax credit.

You brought up the point of bottom line makes more sense than the sustainability claim.

What a frustration must have been for you. It shouldn’t never have happened regardless of how good Vinfast post-delivery services are.

If you sign up during the Charge-up promo, take $1200 (I think it was) from Vinfast and put a dedicated outlet and you should be good to go. Most household fuses from the main panel are 15-30A max so you don’t want to pull 30A on a shared circuit.

Battery subscription page is completely removed from Vinfastauto.us website. Is this battery subscription now officially dead? If so, I think Vinfast needs issue an announcement of such discontinuation so Vinfirst reservation holders who might have continued to believe that it is still an option.

40-50K is on the VF8 variants with battery subscription. W/out it, it’s high 40 to mid 50K now.

I didn’t see it was mentioned in the moderator response so I raised the question.

Obviously not a day-to-day kind of a vehicle. It appears VF is pitching VF9 in the class of Model X, EQS, Polestar 3, XC90. The problem is Model X is now $90K which is $1K less and I hope it’s going to drop further because of decreasing demands.

I wish Vinfast ought to consider bringing back the battery leasing because a number of early reservation holders are in simply due to this reason.

This is the price with battery subscription and it appears Vinfast will not offer it in NA. I have not heard a single thing about the progress despite weeks ago I was told it was still on table. Current price structure is way over inflated.

My understanding is that if you signed the binding agreement before August, Vinfast promised to give $7500 if your IRS rebate claim was rejected.

Special gifts are coming. Just received an email from Vinfast detailing the process on how to claim this special gift.

This issue is more serious than a simple disconnect-reconnect 12V battery. Again this incident also happened with latest VF8 in Vietnam. The video was posted up 13 hours ago and it showed the excessively amount of current pumped from the main battery to the 12V (typically rated 55-60A max)

I don’t bank on that date. Vinfast has to go through EPA on the mileage range and it’s a steep hill to climb from 207 to 270 for VF8 Plus, 360 VF9 Plus as originally advertised

Vinfast has posted new pricing on VF8 City Edition. Does anyone remember the price on VF8 Plus going back to April-May 2022 time frame?

In my mind, it was a win-win conversion at the time. Vinfast gets to sell the car, I get an assurance EV rebate is covered so I also converted. However, my account still says the $200 deposit is refundable to this date.

Prices drop on leasing VF8 now. $519 (ECO) $599 (PLUS) and 36 months instead of 24. Any takers?

I might not be one of the first ones but would hope to qualify for the gift. 😀
