It’s really a ‘need to reboot’ computer issue vs a hardware issue with battery.

A few of those vids aren’t really the 12v battery problem. It’s the only way to reboot the computer is cut the 12v battery power. Vinfast needs a way to reboot that doesn’t involve a wrench.

I’m thinking they need a quick release on the 12v battery so one doesn’t need a wrench…..

I kinda wanted the bigger battery until I saw it was not until 2023. That was when I though I might have a chance at the first 999. That hope died with the news they are all the City Edition with much lower range. & no battery subscription.
Now it seems I might be able to order with larger battery. In reality I’m fine with either since my daily is about 25 miles daily. We will still have an ICE auto for long trips.

What I keep seeing is after the VF8 arrive. Since that has kinda happened I’m guessing Jan – March or the next batch sent. Maybe.
And that’s to US. Canada follows.
