    Any idea when VF 9s will start getting delivered to the U.S.? Or if Vinfast will start providing estimated delivery windows?

    What I keep seeing is after the VF8 arrive. Since that has kinda happened I’m guessing Jan – March or the next batch sent. Maybe.

    And that’s to US. Canada follows.

    Hello all I was at the Drive event in San Diego yesterday and one of the reps said the focus is first on the VF8s and then the VF9s which we already knew. However, they did mention end of year 2023 will be the earliest VF9s will be available.

    Reasoning they said were one they have to have models for demos for the showrooms and for test drives then the customers will get their vehicles so they put a deadline of end of year or beginning of 2024.

      Thanks for the info! We’ll just have to wait and see, the VF9 is really the car that stands out the most from the competition.

        I agree, particularly as we all wait for an alternative 7-seat option apart from Model X and the little model Y. If Kia EV9 beat VF to market, this could lead to folks who are interested in the VF9 making a move with Kia or Hyundai, maybe even the ID Bus ahahah

    Early Jan 2022, I had to sell my car and started looking for a new car but rediculous prices made to do some research and EV got my interest. Then in April NY auto show, I reserved VF9 hoping that I might get it in early 2023 and I stopped looking out for car. Now I am without car and VF9 is no where near 🙁 I hope they really make progress in delivering VF9s by mid 2023 at least. Or should I buy a car for time being? Any suggestions?

      For what it’s worth, I made my VF 9 reservation 336 days ago, and I’m not expecting my VF 9 until Q4 of next year.

        Same here. I still really hope to get the VF9 before end of 2023. I think it will also depend if you’re in CA or somewhere else in the US.

    I don’t think auto makers should even open reservations until they are within 6 months of delivery

    Mine is VF9 reservation. Rep mentioned there will be some VF9 Q1-2023 for test drives. Actual deliveries will be End of 2023 or beginning of 2024. Would be happy test drive in 2023 and wait for the actual delivery in 2024.

      That’s not too bad of a timeframe as long as they don’t deliver a VF9 “City Edition” like they did for the VF8 😉

    I just spoke to a rep at the San Diego show room and he mentioned that deliveries are expected around end of March 2023 and they will start taking order in February for a1 month delivery timeline.

    One of the reps on the online chat still said Q1-Q2 for CA for the VF9. We’ll have to wait and see 🤞
