My wife and I recently bought two VF8s and within a couple days, we both noticed that there was condensation inside the brake lights. Is this normal? Doesn’t seem like it should happen. Anyone else have this problem and did Vinfast resolve it?

Condensation stayed for a bit but eventually dried out for me. If it still has condensation, call call center. They’ll replace it for you.

Usually, headlamps have vent holes and moisture will evaporate when operated. If not, then might need replacement.

Hi John Riedy, thank you for your feedback. Condensation in headlights arises from the same source as other types of condensation: when the outside air temperature drops below the inside air temperature, glass and windows mist up. This is why condensation is more common during the winter months. If this condition results in any damage to the vehicle, please contact the VinFast team at 1 833 503 0600
