The trick is to use “search this area” button. I have charged loaner at public stations mainly at EVGo due to proximity multiple times via this method https://youtu.be/FxzEL4H2vjY?si=S-dMaN1r_hY9BFavhttps://youtu.be/FxzEL4H2vjY?si=S-dMaN1r_hY9BFav

I used my Vinfast app to Initiate a charge for my loaner car. Instead of going to the charging section, go to the map section, and you can select the charger from there. it will ask you the stall, and let you start.

Yes the same method applies for charging loaner. As long as you can locate where you are, you’ll be able to initiate charging session via vf app.
