  1. Will Vinfast adopt the NACT charging standard? If not, how we can charge on the road at Tesla chargers using the CSS plug?

    1. Hi Alex, thank for your question. We are closely observing the development of all charging standards available in the North America. While NACS is gaining popularity recently, J1772 and CCS1 are still the most popular charging standard in North America, which is also the standard that all our VinFast vehicles in the North America compatible to.

    1. Hi Jordan, nice question! Whenever possible, level 2 charging at home is the best for EV user experience and battery life. While there is research that shows that frequent fast (DC) charging can somewhat degrade the battery faster than AC charging, the effect on battery heath is very minor.

    1. Hi Willie, Our VinFast home charger has the enclosure rating of NEMA 4, which is intended for indoor or outdoor use primarily to provide a degree of protection against windblown dust and rain, splashing water, and hose directed water; undamaged by ice which forms on the enclosure. The charging ports on electric cars are also designed to be weatherproof and water resistant. Hope this answers your question.
