CES 2023's Must-See Highlights From VinFast

Last week, the annual Consumer Electronics Show (CES) returned to Las Vegas for another showcase of the biggest names in tech and EVs. One year after announcing its all-electric vehicle strategy, VinFast was back to take the stage at CES, announcing the specifications of its newest all-electric crossover models, the VF 6 and VF 7. Exhilarating Driving Experiences

On January 5, Madam Le Thi Thu Thuy, Vingroup Vice Chairwoman and CEO of VinFast spoke at the event’s press conference, outlining the company’s latest accomplishments and what’s still to come: “VinFast always strives to bring diverse vehicle options to meet the demands of most customers, while pushing the transition from ICE to all-electric vehicles.”

Madame Thuy added: “VinFast’s VF 6 and VF 7 are models that combine the elements of style, modern technology and outstanding technology in an efficient and fun package. I believe that these models will resonate well with young customers who are passionate about technology and exhilarating driving experiences.”

VinFirst For VF 6 and VF 7

Car & Driver’s Mike Austin was also on hand to cover the press event, writing: “Gareth Dunsmore, Deputy CEO for Global Sales & Marketing, said that the first reservation holders for the VF 6 and VF 7 will enjoy additional rewards with meaningful benefit with more details to follow.”

He added: “The VinFirst program for the VF8 and VF9 included an NFT allowing special access to the Vingroup Metaverse, along with discounts of $3,000 and $5,000, respectively.”

Reservations Opening in March

“After the first shipment of VinFast VF 8 EVs arrived in the US last month, the Vietnamese automaker has used its presence at CES 2023 to offer more details about the upcoming VF 6 and VF 7 electric crossovers,” wrote InsideEVs’ Dan Mihalascu.

He continued: “The subcompact (VF 6) and compact (VF 7) models made their North American debut at the Los Angeles Auto Show in November, but VinFast did not reveal much about them back then. However, the automaker announced preliminary specifications for these new models at CES 2023 and confirmed that early reservations for both vehicles will begin in March 2023 in the US.

VF7 Finds The Sweet Spot

Everyday Reviews’ Brian Chow was on hand as Vinfast confirmed details of the US-spec versions of the VF 6 and VF 7, which were first announced at the LA Auto Show in November.
