Ok, so now I’m confused! I was told many times by Vinfast staff that safety testing has been ongoing since early last year. I’ve even received an e-mail from Brandon at Vinfast Customer Experience that he received information that VF8’s received ASEAN NCAP 5*, ERO NCAP 5* and NHTSA 5* ratings but wasn’t sure when it would be published. Are you now saying VF8’s aren’t being tested at NHTSA because it’s their first year of production? I also recall reading on Vinfast website under the FAQs that safety testing was in progress. Can we get some clarity on this subject from someone higher up the chain of Vinfast.

Lastly, 2023 Subaru Solterra is a new EV not yet out but currently being tested by NHTSA.
