Anybody else get an email today? I don’t see the deal and the lease is only 2 years at a price that doesn’t seem like a deal at all. Are 2 year leases popular in Vietnam?

Most buyers in Vietnam typically pay in full outright. Leases are not really a popular thing in Vietnam.

I got it too. Looks like no one is biting on the buy or 3 year lease options so they reduced it to 2 year lease option. Not worth it to me to switch over. Rather wait for the VF9 Plus Enhanced battery to come out.

They just give more options. 3 years might be too long for somebody..

but a 3 year lease is considered ‘normal’ here in the US. Anyways, lease doesn’t do it for me as that nukes the $7500 for sure.

It could be possible they are using the same testing regime as the VW group those cars usually exceed EPA. However if you read the fine print it states range is based on a simulation and has not been EPA tested meaning after EPA real world could be 140-150 good for daily but not for weekend trips I should be able to drive my 60k plus car without worry

From an official VinFast announcement this morning, the EPA rating is 179 miles.

Yes I got the same email as well. I’m not sure what they are doing with there pricing scheme. This city edition is a complete failure at this price. I’m not even sure how they are getting 180 miles if all the cars have a 87 kWh battery if 84 is usable eff would be around 2.1-2.2 which for a modern EV is unforgivable

I got the email too. It’s the same price but with a different lease term as I confirmed with the rep about the Residual values.
