    If you own one of the CATL VF8s (aka Standard Edition, SE), you could run into a problem where all the buttons on the steering wheel (including the ADAS button) refuse to respond. This is due to a bug in the steering wheel control module (SCM) firmware, which fails to wake the SMC up after the car goes into a deep sleep. While waiting for the permanent solution from the VF engineers, here is a quick fix to it. When the problem emerges, you can unplug and plug the SMC fuse back (in red circle in the pictures below) to reset the module. The fuse box is located on the left-hand side of the steering column, behind the extra storage compartment (pictured). You can either use the provided fuse removing tool (attached to the fuse box) or a needle nose plier to remove and replace the fuses.

      Just pull the storage tray down. Very easy. All plastic
