Maybe it’s LNY celebrations, maybe there’s nothing really to report, but why is there no news or updates on the VF9? There’s not really much news on any models really, but where’s the customer engagement to keep me excited and to tell my friends. I’m telling more people about the Volvo EX90 than the the VF9.

When you think VF9 would be available in NY, I have booked more than a year ago and no update on timeline on delivery.

Hello Raj Mishra, our goal is to create a customer-centric experience, which will include our own experience centers, vehicle delivery centers, and convenient service options, including mobile service. Additionally, we will offer consumers the convenience of shopping online. At this stage, we are currently working on the logistic of delivery outside of California. Until this information is finalized, our strategy is to ensure that we sell and deliver the vehicles to the states where we can service the vehicles.

Vinfast has done an extremely poor job of communicating.

Could it be because of recent downsizing?

So far they haven’t able to bring VF8 on the roads successfully in US. Their pricing strategy is not good. Not sure if they have real market analysts working in US. If they think just by spending millions on showrooms and advertising will bring them customers without even providing real test drives on the roads, then they are starting on wrong foot. They can’t even think about VF9 at this time.

Hello Davide Paossi, thank you for being our community member. We value your feedbacks and appreciate everyone’s patience on our process. Although our official numbers have not been released at this time this is the data we can provide regarding AC and DC charging. Level 1 AC charging is a max output of 1kW – Level 2 AC charging ranges from 6kW to 19kW – Level 3 DC charging ranges from 50kW to 300kW. VinFast is targeting 250kW for level 3 DC fast charging.

Sounds like a 20 kwh onboard AC charger! That’s really nice
