How to Free charge with VinFast app for PoweredUp users

A few days ago, current VF8 owners in California received an email about PoweredUp program which offers 1-year of free charging at public charging stations. Here are the instructions on how to initiate a charging session via VinFast app at participating locations including Electrify America, EVGo, Chargepoint, Blink, Flo etc

I never got any email from Vinfast about free charging. Is this for the early cars sold because it was a promotion? Car purchased at a later date qualify for free charging?

Correct. I was for City Edition owners who leased the car in early 2023.

Informative, I have done many chargings but I never used the VinFast app since they were not free before. Now I will start using the app when I go on my road trip again in 2024. Thanks!
