Please someone chime in, specially Vinfast staff

Can you please specify the capacity for each model? Eco battery version 1? Eco battery version 2?

Plus battery version 1?, Plus battery version 2? And also the capacity of City Edition? Does it come with 2 difference version of battery as well?

Even now, there is no clear answer of that, and how will people blindly get/ buy the car that they have to stick with for 10 years?

This question is geared towards a VF moderator.

As EV batteries evolve and become more efficient with at least double the current range, will VF owners have an option to upgrade their batteries?

    Thank you

There might be a bias test, but also Vinfast software maybe at fault when they sacrifice the speed vs effectiveness.( All Vinfast cars sport dual motors, all wheel drive). Hopefully they will have software update to fix that, also EPA should release info regard the test. But for now, I’m just gonna wait to see if there is any change also more stable versions coming out

I’ve been watching videos on YouTube via translate. From what I see on daily drivers of vinfast vf8s delivered they are getting an average of 2.6 – 2.7 miles per kw. This city edition with those numbers its a possibility to get over 200 miles with the 82 kw battery. These should be real test results since these numbers are based off daily drivers.

That picture where it is showing 423.5km at 98% is a nice indication that they are on their target according to WLTP standards. That 423.5 equates to around 263 miles but with only need 2% more charge I will say it will probably go to 270 if that.

If this is the case Vinfast vehicles are only getting 2.1 mpkw range? Or is there a software update that we may need to boost range? I would’ve felt more comfortable if the city edition had a 65 KW battery. Thus making it 180 mile epa

If that response is correct It would appear that the standard battery just didn’t do well in EPA testing and so they called it a city edition it may need to go through some software tweaks to get better range. This is what happens when rushing to get a car out.
