    Yes, I am a happy owner of a 2024 VF8 Plus. The incentives on the VF8 make it a better lease deal than other similar size EV models. I also work for a dealership group that sells them. If anyone is interested in leasing one please let me know. Call/text Ben Brooks at 850.723.2870

    Lease it and regretting it. Should have opted for Tesla model y instead. Given high insurance cost and software issues, it is not worth it. The panacea for all problems is to reset the car. really?

      I never had a Tesla , but have a lot of friends who have. They told me over the years that their cars have had all kinds of issues on first launch and several years afterwards. Your high insurance costs are anecdotal. My insurance decreased by 10%. I did a lot of test driving and research, and for me the VF8 is the best all around EV , their warranty is unmatched.

      How much is uyour lease? the $199/mo lease with $0 down is the best deal I’ve found in any EV

    I have leased a VF8 plus trim and currently getting 245 miles on a 90% charge. 75% of the time I drive it on Eco mode, but use the ventilated seats, AC, etc. My commute is about 75 miles per day, and I charge it at home every other day on a level 2 charger. I also noticed that I was given 1 year free of unlimited DC fast Charging through Electrify America! It’s a solid car, my only complaint is that the backup parking camera doesn’t come on all of the time when in reverse ( soft reset fixes this), but hoping that an OTA update will permanently fix it, otherwise very happy with it. Let me tell you it is fast!!

        @Thomas Lee @ Phong Vo

        Hi Thomas Lee and Phong Vo. Thank you very much for your opinions and we do appreciate your concerns. For these cases, VinFast will try to connect clients timely and provide instant support if needed, to resolve whatever issues they are having with the vehicles. Customer satisfaction is always one of our ultimate concerns; thus, we are working hard to strive for perfection and further improve our vehicles. If test drives are available in your area, we would highly recommend you to go for one and try our VF8s to get your own experience. For other questions (if any), please feel free to contact us any time at 1-833-503-0600, or email [email protected], we will be happy to support.

    For any car if you can’t drive 150 miles to nearest city and reach back home safely without charging in between, then spending a 50k is a big waste of money. This is my personal opinion.

    So, I am glad to hear you got your Vf8 Plus. Did you have a reservation?

      Thank you. Yes, I had a reservation since 1/22. I was going to wait for the Standard version due here in April/May but decided to go for the lease instead. And even if it’s a lease, I still get all the perks promised to Vinfirsts..

    I am leasing a VF8 Plus right now. It was delivered to me last Saturday and so far, I have put in 300 miles on it already. I love the car and I am getting a lot of compliments on it. It’s such a beautiful and quality-built EV!

      How is the mileage? Does it really giving 190+ miles as they promised or you need to charge only 90% and gives around 150 miles are so? Did you install charger at home?

        Oh yes, I would say around 200 for my PLUS. I have been charging mostly at the charge stations since my LVL1 charger is very, very slow at home. I will use a LVL 2 charger soon and that should speed up for overnight session. I just ordered a LVL2 charger from Amazon to be plugged into the dryer outlet in the garage. The charger that comes with the car can be both LVL1 and LVL2 , depending on whether it’s plugged into the 110v or 220v outlet. My outlet is a 3-pronged one so I cannot use the 4-pronged plug the VF charger has.

        If things still don’t work out, I will then install a LVL2 charger which costs more with installation..

        @Ramakrishna: We are seeing about 225 miles on a 90% charge. our longest single trip was 100 miles and we used 38% of battery but that was more stop and go. We did 75 miles of highway driving and that resulted in 30% battery usage which would be about 225 miles for that charge. Better than expected. Charging is an issue and it may take 15 hours to recharge the car after a big trip unless they find a fix for that.

      I am curious are you getting non stop faults with the car. Battery, motor, regenerative braking? Our car is also having severe charging issues, as in it wont charge for more than 20 minutes then it turns itself off
