Meet The Tech-Savvy and Compact VinFast VF 6

If you want a car that is compact enough for city living, driving and parking, paired with the flexibility for spontaneous road trips and weekend activities, the VinFast VF 6 is your ride! Today at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES 2023), VinFast announced the specifications of its newest all-electric crossover model—the VF 6. Its 166.9-inch overall length and short 107.5-inch wheelbase promises inner-city manoeuvrability and easy parking.

The VF 6 seats five and has a variety of luxury features, including a vegan leather interior.  It takes advantage of its SUV-like shape to offer maximum cabin space, offering ample headroom and legroom in front and back. And best of all—it’s fun to drive, with great acceleration and excellent roadhandling. It builds on its cutting-edge design with innovative infotainment and driver-assistance technologies.

The small crossover is powered by a 59.6 kWh battery pack with an estimated range of 247 miles per charge. It powers a 174-horsepower electric motor and sends power to the front wheels. The Plus version has a maximum range on a full charge of 237 miles, 201 horsepower and 228 lb-ft torque. Note that the maximum ranges are based on WLTP standards; official EPA ranges will be announced by VinFast when available.

Stylish & Sophisticated

The VF 6 boasts stylish, sophisticated designs, crafted in-house by VinFast and world-famous Torino Design. The futuristic exterior is highlighted by VinFast’s signature front and rear light bar with animated LED effects, smooth body panels, a bold A-wing front apron, and an aggressive rear design.

Advanced Yet Intuitive

With sophisticated styling rarely seen in compact SUVs and a modern interior with a huge touchscreen display and connectivity, the VF 6 is among the most technologically advanced compact eSUVs in its class. The VF 6 comes packed with Level-2 ADAS features for all Eco and Plus versions, including traffic jam assist and highway assist, lane-keeping assist, automatic lane change assist, fully automated parking with summon mode, and remote parking capability. Smart features will also include Smart Home, Mobile Office, In-car Shopping, and In-car Entertainment. Smart Services and in-car entertainment applications will be displayed on a 12×13 inch touch screen. Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and in-dash navigation are all standard features. The infotainment system features both Amazon Alexa and a built-in voice assistant.

The front-wheel drive VF 6 packs up to 201 horsepower and 228 pound-feet of torque and with access to more than 90,000 public chargers throughout North America, the VF 6 is ready to take on any adventure with style. With a maximum range on a full charge of 248 miles for the Eco version, the VF 6 boasts 174 horsepower and 184 lb-ft torque. The Plus version tops out on on a full charge with 237 miles, 201 horsepower and 228 lb-ft torque.
