Hi, just curious following the KBB comment: which of the cars has a range of 316 miles?

I’m personally really looking forward to the VF9 extended range as it’s the only reasonably priced full size SUV so far. Can’t wait to get my hands on it

Usually the 12V battery is very cheap and easy to change, but I would not expect issues with it on new cars.

I’d read that the maintenance is lower overall as there is no oil change and less breaks changes, but the tires need replacing faster as the car is heavier.

Does someone know the tire size for the VF8/VF9? Hope there will be affordable replacement options 🙂

Hi, just curious, why do you say “You shouldn’t use a portable generator to charge an EV”?

I have a 6.5kW portable generator, I’d assume I could use it to charge the car at a lower 20A setting.

Maybe there were issues to secure enough batteries for the cars, and they really wanted to deliver some before end of 2022 as promised. Makes me worry if the VF9 long range will still happen by end of next year.🤞

Yes, looking forward to east coast (New England & NY) deliveries. When will you expand out of CA?

I did that too, the $200 isn’t too much of a risk for a possible $7,500 upside. I assume VF will be eligible again once they start producing from the NC factory but that will take a while

Same here. Really looking for the VF9 getting delivered to NY!

Thanks for all the explanations, are the VF motors “permanent magnet” or “AC induction” type? And do they need less maintenance than ICE engines?
