We purchased a charger, aka EVSE, way back in 2013. Outlets, similar to the ones we typically plug everything into, are limited to 50 A breaker and 40 A continuous output as Kurt kindly noted. If you received the home Level 2 charger then no need to purchase another one, again I also agree to have it hard wired, no outlet, to the panel. If you notice the 40 A is 80% of the max capacity of the circuit, and they are designed that way. At least off our ’24 VF 9 with current software, it derates the 40 A to 80% that, so 32 A is used. This might be why Aarya you notice on level 2 it still takes a long time. VinFast is making a significant change to their California dealer network as they are closing company owned showrooms, (and seems like service centers), and using “Repair Wise” to outsource service and setting up for a traditional dealer network. (Just received the email)!

We have a production model which we took delivery on release day. Sadly Pininfarina, whom they hired to design it, probably had next to no experience designing an SUV as well as EVs. The seating is still very close to the ground…
