Good news, they finally announced the details of the promised membership program. Bad news, anything we did in 2022 is not included. WTH. That’s not fair. They urged us to sign up and participate, then don’t give us credit? They need to issue points from when they started this, not starting in 2023. Just my rant. How do you feel?

It would be nice to start with communication on our reservations. None so far. Pricing has changed as well as the battery option. What will we really end up with? Or be offered? The vehicle camera resolution was terrible and I hope that does not go into production.

He does do things quickly sometimes and I’m not concerned with Production value, just the facts/opinions. Too many other reviewers “follow the line” when reporting and are not necessarily being honest about their feelings for one reason or another.

I was fooling around on the Kia website today and noticed that they now have the VinFast VF8 and VF9 in their comparison guide. Nice to see another car company comparing them. Not all of the info they have listed is correct, but it’s a start.

I specifically asked VF and they said 250.

This problem is happening with the current Vietnam models. VF needs to fix this BEFORE they release them in the US.

Is VF considering using the North American Charging Standard connector in the future? To me, it would make sense due to the number of chargers available and their reliability. The EA chargers are not reliable.

I am seeing videos online of problems already occurring with the 12 volt battery. Other EV brands are having problems too. What is VF doing to fix and/or prevent these issues?

Is it adjustable on the VF8?

What tires come on the VF8? Are they the new type of tires for electric cars?

Will the amount of Regen be adjustable?

I believe the level 2 is up to 60 kW and I know the level 3 is up to 250 kW. Using a 350 will only net the capability of the vehicle, which in this case means it will only put out up to 250.

What about the 12volt battery?
