Is “Camping Mode” on? I forgot to turn it off when leaving the car so the car was on all night one time.

is it a Vinfast home charger that came with the car? If so, you can adjust the tiny wheel inside the charger to the number appropriate with your dedicated outlet (15A, 30A, 40A, 50A or 60A) . If it’s not the Vinfast home charger then I’m not sure what you can do.

We asked State Farm before signing paperwork because we heard about outrageous insurance rates. We now pay $125 a month for our VF8 which is 2 times more than our 2018 Mazda 3. Our friend pays $200/month for his Tesla Y with AAA. We all have excellent driving records, no claims last 5 years and 2 cars and a house each. Hope this helps gauging how much you should pay for your insurance. As far as saving money, we think there’s none because of high insurance. The trade off for an eventual cleaner environment is what we want.

This type of turn-indicator has been used on BMWs for years. It’s not the best and needs getting used to. Perhaps an improvement on future Vinfast cars and not a recall.

I agree with the ON/OFF wish. I have a 2024 VF8 Plus – one-week old. I wish for no delay in acceleration. The car gave me a heart attack when I stepped on the pedal at the light merging onto the freeway and the car hesitated for half a second. Other than that the car is great! YouTube is full of distorted information. I joined the Vinfast Fan Support Group but awaiting approval. Anyone knows how long?
