When can the car uses built-in cameras as dashcam to help with hit and run

Just got hit and run on 2nd day after Lunar New Year Eve when I visited a pagoda, my dashcam that I installed has video of when I parked in front of a car, but not when that car hit my car left rear side.
VinFast I need you to enable your built in cameras as dashcams 🙁
