VinFast VF8 Plus 2024 – Windshield Wiper Malfunction

Dear VinFast Community,

I am experiencing an issue with the windshield wipers on my 2024 VinFast VF8 Plus. When I activate the wipers in the rain, they move only a few inches before getting stuck, even though I can hear the wiper motor running. This poses a safety concern in wet conditions.

If I manually push the wipers, they work for a few cycles but then get stuck again. Has anyone encountered a similar issue? If so, do you have any recommendations for a solution?

I appreciate any insights or advice.

Yep, I did. Pull the negative terminal off the 12 volt battery for 5-10 mins to do a hard reset of the system, then put it back on. You will need a 10mm wrench , it’s located in your trunk.
