VinFast buy back program in Vietnam

Last month in Vietnam, VinFast offered a buy back program after owning the car for 5 years. They were offered a fixed percentage of the original purchase price for various models including VF8 and VF9. Below is a link.

Has anyone heard more about this and can a VF moderator comment if this will be offered in the US?
