On the vinfast website looks like the listed prices went up VF8 $59k (+$2k) VF9 76.9k (+$900).

    That’s inflation for you 🙂

Plus the battery lease option is no longer mentioned. Wondering what is going on. VinFast better makes this clear before rumors make it bad for them.

battery lease is still hiding in the FAQs,but scrubbed from every where else. I agree, something is up.

Everyone as well as VINFAST have to realize that the pricing they are offering even though it is without battery subscription is too high. Especially when their is no official EPA range only the WLTP estimated of what 270miles. If that is the case EPA will only be about 220 miles if that much. So I think reason we are not getting vehicle is engineers are trying to work on the software to make it more efficient so it is more appealing to the NA market as the competition is tough in NA with all the different EVs coming out with more range and cheaper or same pricing.

Range is not a big thing w me. My wife’s ride will be my old ICE; we will use that for long trips. My concern was no battery subscription. That reduces the price $15k as well.

Kinda odd on this forum run by Vinfast or vin group there are no official replies. Hum.

If pricing won’t be the differentiator from other entry luxury compact EV AWD SUVs, what will it be? Why get a VF8 over a Cadillac Lyric or Audi Q4 or Ford Mach E or Volvo XC 40? They all end up ~$60k well equipped with AWD. And from legacy automakers with established dealer and service networks.

They don’t offer the price without battery any more on the landing page, but there’s still lots of battery subscription pricing. Maybe it’ll be an option at financing?

Vinfast is on the verge of pricing itself out the affordable category contrary to original promises. I am having second thought about getting one

Yeah what is that now $10k increase lol. Glad I put my reservation in Before 9/1/22. At this rate it is cheaper to get a Tesla. And at least they will have the $3750 Rebate.

yeah, I don’t think vinfast will catch up to the Tesla price level anytime soon. I once wanted a Tesla Y until Musk went nuts raising the prices every time he was in a bad mood…..that dream died. I won’t spend that much for a vehicle.

So true but the prices for the Model 3 and Model Y I think will decrease a little because of the 55k and 80k caps for renate
