    As part of selling the VF8 in the US, Vinfast award “free” charging programs. They vary in length from 1 – 3 years depending on how early you made your reservation. My question is, has anyone with such a policy, actually been able to get it to work? Please share your experience – Thanks

    Have been able to use your free charging incentive?

    I was part of the free charging but changed to home charger thinking j would be able to put charger in the garage. However was not able to do so as our breaker is upstairs and we live in Townhome so was not going to spend money to tear up all the walls so they can run the wire to garage.

    However, when I did get the free charging I think they messed up and gave me the plan thru ChargeHub which was for Canada. As America should be thru ElectrifyAmerica. Well if you do end up getting free charging it will take about a week after purchase to get said plan. And if it is on ChargeHub they will not work on EA chargers but will on EVGo chargers. If they can not get the EA credits done that is false advertisement claim as they were advertising EA charging free for 3 years on the ChargeUp program.

      • Option 1: Get 1 FREE home charger with $1200 credit towards installation by our partner QMerit. This option is designed to help customers feel secure with professional installation service and enjoy the convenience of fast charging at home
        Or
      • Option 2: Three years of FREE access to public charging at Electrify America network, with unlimited sessions. Electrify America is one of the largest public network with an abundance of 150 and 350 kW ultra-fast chargers

    Is there a way to check if you’re getting the free charging incentive? Do you have it listed in your reservation confirmation email?
    I placed my reservation very early 1/2022 when they 1st opened reservation for the US. My reservation confirmation email didn’t list this incentive so I’m unsure if I’m having it. Thanks.

      I do not think Vinfirst people have it. But you can call and they can look and see. Or you can got to an EA station open app go to navigation click charging and follow instruction then start the charge. Once done stop charge and see if you see a charge on the app. You will need to add CC info on the app.
