Battery rental and car insurance

Hi,

I am curious to know how will the new Vinfast battery lease work with car insurance. Is there a separate insurance to cover the battery? What if the car gets totaled?

I would imagine the insurance pays to replace the car. You were renting the battery so it wasn’t yours to insure. The payment of 219.00 a month should have ins for the battery wrapped in it one would hope. I hope we get our VF9 by November 2023 or earlier. Can’t wait til 2024 we have 2 new drivers in the house come January 2023.
