Vinfast VF8 Brake rear brake noise

Does anyone from Vinfast monitor these forums? If so:

My car has been in the shop for close to a month in total for various issues but mostly related to brake and suspension noise. They have basically updated the suspension on the car to a 2025 model. As far as the brakes go, they replaced the pads a few months ago but the brake squeal returned. This past week, Vinfast fixed the issue by lubricating and grinding down the brake pads so the pads dont touch the rotar when driving. One, is this safe, and secondly, what do we do when the car needs new brakes, is Vinfast going to cover the cost of replacing the pads for the life of the car because of a faulty design. As it was explained to me by techs, the pads are too thick and rub against the rotar.
