As long as the charging operators have not come any closer to a agreement about charging ports standardization yet, it is hard to change to any other direction. Even like Apple, it took them so long to change their charging port to USB Type-C lol.

Hi Hoang , thank you for your information. That number is so insightful. Losing 5-9% battery capacity after 6 years and 53k miles sounds very promising. I totally agree that we should care less about the damage to the battery but care more about how conviniently we charge. As long as it fits our schedule.
