Maybe it’s LNY celebrations, maybe there’s nothing really to report, but why is there no news or updates on the VF9? There’s not really much news on any models really, but where’s the customer engagement to keep me excited and to tell my friends. I’m telling more people about the Volvo EX90 than the the VF9.

I love my Q4 etron. But for awhile I kept watching videos of reviewers who kept telling me it wasn’t a good car. So I had to stop watching those videos.

Reviewers will have you thinking the Bolt takes years to fast charge cos it can’t do 10-80 percent in 20 minutes like an Ioniq5.

I can’t wait to sit in and test drive a VF9 and see if it’s right…

This poll, as unscientific as it is, offers a lot of anecdotal evidence as to why OEMs are making long range batteries and AWD first, and single motor short range batteries second.

Take note Vinfast

If pricing won’t be the differentiator from other entry luxury compact EV AWD SUVs, what will it be? Why get a VF8 over a Cadillac Lyric or Audi Q4 or Ford Mach E or Volvo XC 40? They all end up ~$60k well equipped with AWD. And from legacy automakers with established dealer and service networks.

They don’t offer the price without battery any more on the landing page, but there’s still lots of battery subscription pricing. Maybe it’ll be an option at financing?

100 percent. Possibly even make it cheaper dependent on how many hours you have their ADAS engaged.

Honestly, bundle it all together. A monthly detailing service at a Vinfast dealership/showroom. Throw an Electrify America Pass+ membership in there. Give me all the car stuff and one price subscription.

Would make way more sense if these were just heading to showrooms and reviewers for test drives, then maybe turned into rentals for fleets or loaners for repairs. That price makes it hard to swallow. Very into the battery subscription program, but can also understand why people wouldn’t want it and would rather purchase or finance the battery right out.
