Remember that time when a bunch of VinFirst Pioneers reserved VF9s in early 2022 with a whole ton of perks (e.g., vacation to Vietnam, chunky discount, etc.) but the promotion has a 12/31/2023 expiration date? Remember when that order we placed was for a three-row SUV with a $61K MSRP? That certainly panned out well.

• What will the battery range look like when the first VF9s get delivered? Will they meet the goal ranges as advertised, or will there be a City Edition trim to start?
• When will orders be fulfilled in the US?

Been wondering the same thing. It’s been annoying to have the VF8 “City Edition” pushed on VF9 reservation holders, then to see how Vinfast is launching entirely new models at CES when we still don’t have a go-to-market date yet for what’s supposed to be the company’s flagship model.

100% agree. The battery subscription was a key product differentiator. Would urge Vinfast’s product team to not get scared away by auto bloggers and stick to their guns. EV’s are entering a different market phase than when Tesla first went to market, and the consumer segments considering EV ownership look different than 5 years ago.
